Members are encouraged to enhance their educational progress by applying for the Carter & Hutson Scholarships.These awards are available to students of the University of the West Indies and Barbados Community College.

QUALIFICATION:	Awarded on the basis of the applicant's academic record with specific reference to performance in the previous year's university examinations (GPA 3.0 and above).
VALUE:	$2, 500.00 per annum for a maximum of three years.
ELIGIBILITY:	Open to members of the B.P.C.C.U.L. who have successfully completed the first year of study leading to a degree in any discipline.
CRITERIA:	Academic performance as well as financial need. Financial need should onlybetaken intoaccount as atie breaker.
